I would have to agree with you on google. They have gone dark for this earth hour it really looks bad although I understand there point and how they are coming across. To be honest I think google is one of the main gods of search engines. I work as an ICT support technician and I only use google along with many others I bet. So other than google I would have to say my favourite sites are rapidshare forums etc where I can get hold of the latest software products

Let me say that we need Google so it is not my favorite, It is something which can't be avoided and we can do nothing without it. I always get very useful hints while bugging codes and it never disappoint me so it is more than a favorite thing. I like Youtube and Youtube is my favorite video site. Now we can say people have a favorite site in each niche so list might be very long.

I think if you search more on internet. There are lots of like friend told us about google but what about youtube and wikipedia and also other. I think its not easy to chose 1 site.

I think mostly visiting website is YAHOO.Because If you go to any traffic website who shows the daily traffic information about web, Then you find YAHOO on top as a most visiting site and use google as a search engine. Anyway my favorite site is msn because with msn i click on one button and easy to access my hotmail.

Regarding best website will mostly depend on a person's need and niche. I always find me liking wordpress and blogger. I think these websites are in real deal with users.

I agree with that but I'll find all those good sites from google So google is on the top. With google I search daily thousands of new websites, blogs and other things. So Still google on the top and give us more every day

I don't like monopoly of any company. Perfect competition is always best for users .

off-course Youtube is good site but now there are lots of other sites like youtube, you can also try zippyvideo and vimeo.

I have had tried some other sites as well but IMHO youtube is the best. Perhaps because they have more users and activities than any other video sharing site. What do you think about it?

As I have said earlier, Google is not favorite or something like that but it is our need. To be very true, I couldn't dig any good site till now from this thread so it is still a useless topic.

I am not sure on whether we can have display the links of any sites here. But my favourite site is any technical site. A website should be very much informative. only then the viewers will stick to the site and will keep pinging back. And ofcourse google is also one of the best. I like it too.
