I couldn't really choose between the two since I haven't had ample amount of time to play with it and actually use it for my own use.

But if I were to have to choose I would say that XP would my favor over the little use I have used of Vista.

XP please! Vista is a pain in the butt in so many ways. Just to do the most simple of things in XP takes a whole ordeal in Vista. Sometimes I think my period will come extra early with the amount of stress it gives me.

Am I the only one who has never had problems with XP crashing in my 4 years of using it?

Unlikely, It's crashed many times with me :lol: always tweaking and installing software.

Most people are having problems with Vista's hardware compatibility and that is why they don't like it.

Windows vista is not user-friendly and its simply NOT worth the upgrade.Microsoft is still working on its bugs and thats why any customer would prefer XP to it.
Windows XP is good because:
a) It's cheaper;
b) Everything is compatible with it (except mac stuff), and;
c) you might have to upgrade your computer before Vista can work on it.
Vista looks cool though, but you only get the "see through".

I am still using Windows Vista without any issues here, It's working really well for me and hasn't let me down yet.

I must admit UAC is a pain but once you get to understand it, problems disapear. Microsoft has released quite

a few updates recently and most of the bugs seem to be fixed.

Basically the release of vista uploaded with bugs wasn't expected at all and that too from a company of microsoft's calibre!!! dont you think so they should have tested the product before launching it on such a big platform?

Surely, i shall go with vista now. Why? Because it is much better and reliable. Soon MS is going to discontinue its support so I can't rely a OS which is not supported anymore.

I will be using Windows XP, because it occupies less space in hard drive and is efficient in processing.
