I really liked Windows 95. Is there a way to downgrade my XP or even my Vista back down to Windows 95? It was so much simpler and it was easy for the kiddies to use. Can you even purchase Windows 95 stand alone anymore.

I'm not sure if I want to downgrade to Windows 95. That operating system has a lot of bugs that I would rather use Linux than that. I think it is better to move forward than backwards when it comes to computer systems.

You'd probably have to go on eBay or something to find an old system like that. Just remember that Win95 isn't supported for anything anymore and neither is Win98. WinXP is only going to be supported for another year or two, so keep that in mind with whatever choice you make.

Yeah you'd really suffer if you went back to that. No security patches, no bug fixes-just a system full of holes that would be virus ridden within a few hours of use because I doubt you'd even find an anti-virus software to run on it anymore.
