I've been dealing with this on a friend's computer for the past couple of days. So far I seem to have removed most, but today she threw up 22 browser hijacks.

My trouble is that I'm short on time till after the holidays. Do you know of anything that will wipe this out quickly and easily-completely-or am I going to have to just trawl through a bit at a time?

Try www.geekstogo.com Its a place I use whenever I have a problem with malware, adware or viruses. Post your question and if there is a utility that will deal with your problem, they will tell you.
