I'm really liking this particular hidden feature of windows 7. It is possible to create a new folder, to rename it to a particular string and it will change from a folder symbol to a control panel symbol. When you open it, every single feature of the system that can be changed is present-its awesome! Check out the article here;

While I do not have 7 up here just yet, that is a nice find for any geek. Having control and not having to remember where "everything" is, very good find indeed. I wonder who's idea it was though.

My first thought when reading this article was 'no more searching'. I spend more time trying to remember exactly how to change something than I do in the actual process of change.

I believe that a similar function is available in windows Vista. I haven't tried it myself however so cannot swear to it. God mode is really just a massive collection of short cuts, but it is incredibly useful.

Interesting...was the option described in the user guide for Windows 7 or something like that? Personally, I don't really have a problem with just going to the regular control panel for most of my stuff...
