replacing it would be a good idea, but if you can afford it buy a new laptop with a bigger keyboard, try to find models with soft keyboards so you won't get that issue again

I can't imagine taking it apart myself, so I guess it's a matter of finding a reliable service center nearby to get it done. Thanks guys; I was hoping I could do it myself - but I'm not going to mess around with taking this thing apart!

I wonder how tedious that would be - removing each key and cleaning the whole thing bit by bit. I feel like I'd do it one at a time so as to avoid the mistake of putting keys back in wrong places!

Then again, that might make a good prank! :P

Yes I would say that at this point it would be best to replace it. It isn't a hard job normally, but you could always take it into a shop and have a professional do it-it wouldn't take long to do and you'd have it back quickly.

My laptop keyboard just plain sucks. The keys were too light for my taste from the beginning, but now that I've had it a couple of years and all kinds of gunk has gotten under it that the air-sprayer can't get out, it's useless. Do I have to replace it, or is there a way to fix it?
