Right now there are lot of ways to get your ip address information. Like to visit any whois site,check your ip address website. Or your dialup,lan connected icon. But without open anything or cmd go to run and type "cmd /k ipconfig" without quotes and enter. You are done. The ip address information infront for you.

In Windows 98 you have to type "winipcfg" Thanks

Thanks for sharing this information with us. I note that if we using any DOS command the dos not appears on screen until We type cmd in run. Thats very easy way to grab your ip address.
