 Post subject: Pen Drive problem

I have a kingstone USB drive.. Its 1 GB device. The problem is when i insert it in my USB port. The light is blinking and nothing happend. I mean the icon appears on my computer but when i click on it there is nothing inside.. I try also to format it but no message appears like Windows not detecting it.

Hello . I think your USB device is dead. If you using as you mention the name kingstone then you have t contact them through e-mail. I'm sure they will support you and helps you within 24 hours. Explain them that what problem you are facing.

heh Nitro even i think your usb could be in a problem what i say is like kingston comes with a replaceable warranty i prefer you go and get replaced you flash drive..

like they willl give you a new one in case the present one is not able to be overcome with its problem....

even i have replaced my 2gb of pendrive.

It might be due to a conflict of drive letters that your PC assigns to USB devices.

Unplug the USB, disconnect any one of your network drives and then re-insert the USB device. If that solves the problem, you can stop it from happening again by assigning drive letters manually. This prevents Windows from assigning conflicting drive letters to the device.

The problem is either your USB device is dead or your system is no longer recognizing the USB drives which is most probably because of driver hardware error or your OS would have got corrupted. Try using other pen drives and check whether the problem is in your USB drive or in your system.
