Its very easy because in last few months ago I use internet via cable network. I always care about to protecting my system from outdoor users and network users. Anyway Just done a simple thing and protect your computer from network.

This trick is for LAN users.
Just go to your lan (Local Area Network). Right click and go to properties.

Code:
This Connection uses the following items

Uncheck 1st both

Clients for microsoft networks
File and printing sharing for microsoft networks.
Uncheck both and click okay.
Thanks it you are done..
Its will disable your sharing and deny others to access your system via network.

Also if you are a expert. Just do some more things. Uncheck the remote assistance and remote desktop from my computer properties (remote tab). Also disable remote connection services from running services in control panel.

I agree it would create a problem with remote desktop and for me that would not be healthy :( . Sometimes it's handy to be able to remote into my laptop from another room in a building I could not do without to be honest.

This is not mine post. But love to add something. I understand that without remote service no one able to connect through your computer. But in other side you get also 3rd clients who make you easily to connect with remote PC. I use TeamViewer. Its a good software. No matter you are in LAN,DSL,cable. No matter to open port, identify your ip address.
