which one would u prefer . a factory packed system like
dell,hp,hcl or an assembled unit???????

Well factory packed is ok if you can get the exact specs that you wanted. But I've built my own in the past because I needed a machine that was right for software development, and I couldn't buy one ready made that suited at the time.

So really it depends what you need.

Most factory packed machines are built to good specifications or at least are tested to make sure hardware and software work together correctly. DELL for example use high quality components in all there machines and have really good warranty and technical support for there systems. However personally I would always build my own computer as its cheaper and better in the long run as you don't void any warrantys buy upgrading your system where as with factory systems from DELL etc they would be harder to upgrade and the components would be a lot more expensive.

HP and DELL tend to be a good brand.

These are very good points. It is unfortunately true that most factory builds don't leave a lot of space inside the machine for say, upgrading and changing components. There can be a lot of pluses to building your own if you know what parts will and will not work together.

If building PC's is a hobby for you, than certainly I would stick with that. I have bought an assembled system in the past but it always had problems, for now I will stick with the big brands.

I would go with the assemble system because it is much better than the factory set.
And i can add some extra equipments to my computer,If i go for the assemble system.

i prefer factory packed one because in the assembled systems, the speed gradually decreases as you continuously use it. the quality of the factory packed systems will be good. also, if you get any problem regarding the system, you can have assistance of the company dealers. you can also add extra components in factory packed systems also.

What are your favorite and least favorite brands of computers?

I generally prefer assembling the systems on my own. Factory packed ones are mostly reliable when compared with the assembled ones however both of them according to me are of the same level.

For the average user, a factory packed computer is usually good enough. However, if you know how to put one together and need specific parts for your PC, then obviously, putting one together is the way to go.

Well i think assemble set can be far better than the factory set in comparison to rates.
So you can do a market research and then go for a buy.

Actually, in this case, we can buy the configuration that we would like to have. I will have a chance to pick only the best of the best. Hence, i will have the fullest of the satisfaction while using my computer.

i am having a strong support for assembled piece because except me, some of my friends are CS and they recommend. But, I don't want to doubt them because they are all using branded one.

As for mine is concern, the assembled system is working well.

I would choose the factory packed systems over the assembled one. The factory systems are far more stable and they come with anti virus software already installed on them. Nothing beats a warranty

I am using only assembled Pc, but the sw and other packages are registered and bought for I don't want to risk my system which is most important for me.
