hi all,
i will tell you the difference between a mac and a pc so that you can decide which one's more suited to your needs.
1)PC is compatible with most softwares in market while MAC is not.
2)for gamers MAC is a no-no. MAC is best for photo editing and videos.
3)design of MAc is sleek but the machine is costly.

i hope the above info helps in deciding. any more comparisions welcome.

Those were really nice tips. Obviously a PC is better than a MAC for regular use. And you say MAC is also costly. So, PC is better than MAC.

Depending on the needs of the user, a Mac or PC might be suitable. As mentioned, most programs are compatible with the Windows OS that comes pre-installed with most PCs. There have been more games and programs that are compatible with the Mac being released nowadays, so compatibility is not much of a problem. Macs being more expensive, are more suited for people who do graphic design and provide an alternative to the PC. The interface of a Mac is more user friendly and prettier looking than the PC, and the design is sleeker for a price of course. Of course, PC would be more than sufficient for regular use.
