CAN somebody tell me how mush power is consumed by a normal desktop and by a laptop. does it depend upon the model also i.e. pentium 4 consumes more power than core2 duo.?

A laptop consumes less power than a desktop. A desktop consumes 100-800 W and a laptop consumes 20-90W. So, a laptop is best because it has low power consumption. Intel core is better than pentium 4.
