I always find good sites and I love to communicate with others so forums are normal for me. What I can not stand though are lazy admin and mods. Part of being a good step ahead of the spammers is being active on your website. Who is going to visit a site that has no structure to it, no one caring that spam is over flowing, etc.?

Saying mods and admins are being lazy if they don't keep up with spammers is a little harsh. If you're running a large board then it becomes impossible to keep on top of it. Also remember one thing, not everyone runs a forum as a full time job, not unless they're making huge revenues from advertising or services being offered through the forum.

It also helps if members report spammers to the staff as well.
