Yes it is unfortunately, but LCDs are getting better. The trouble is that the best screens-22 inch CRTs are very expensive, very heavy, and getting harder to come by all the time.

Yes that's true. I concern more about my eye health, because I work on the computer several hours a day. Fortunately I rarely need to do graphic design so that I don't have to deal with the CRT screen.

I'm curious. Why is it that you think that a CRT monitor will be worse for your eye healthy than a flat panel will? Flat panels have issues too-for instance a limited viewing angle. They aren't perfect.
