The hype around Windows 7 is that it's better than Vista because the bugs and glitches have been taken care of. Also, the overhead associated with Vista has been greatly reduced with Windows 7. Do you find that to be true?

I can't say for certain however the "test drives" I have done with Windows 7 leads me to believe that Vista is even more lame than I initially thought. I have no clue where Windows was trying to go with Vista.

I haven't worked with it too much yet, but I have heard good reviews from people that I know. They seem to be really happy with it as opposed to Vista users.

I upgraded from Vista and it's definitely an improvement, however, I can say that I would have been quite mad if I would have paid to upgrade to Vista from XP but luckily that was not the case as it came with my computer otherwise it would have felt like a huge rip-off.

The improvements weren't that drastic though, at least in my case so keep that in mind but if Vista is way too buggy, you should consider upgrading.
