Is this true with computer monitors? Do you think that having a bigger monitor will enhance your productivity or enjoyment?

I have a 22" monitor and I love watching movie through it. But when I work something on it then it seems like it's too big for my eyes.

I am getting older now and I do see easier on a large screen than a smaller one but that goes for TV too. I am not too sure of the statistics if its better or not, it might just be what people prefer.

It just depends on what you do with it. If you're watching movies the majority of the time, then I believe bigger is better. But if it's for work, I'll trade a huge monitor for a dual or even triple monitor set up.

I've tried to work with a dual monitor set up and despite seeing the potential benefits, I couldn't get along with it. I gave up and reduced back to the single monitor-a 19 inch at that, so not particularly huge.

Currently I am using a 17 inch screen for my computer and I feel comfortable with it. I use my computer mostly for work so I don't need that huge screen.

Is there a large difference between the CRT monitors and the flat screens, even if they are the same size? I still have an older one in the back room but in my work office I have a flat screen and I can oddly see better on the old one.

I don't like CRT monitors anymore now that I've used LCD. They are just bulky and the picture quality is very different.

I haven't used multiple monitors but I guess that is really great when you are making a website.

I've started working on a dual screen as well. I love it! I don't know that I could switch back easily. :) You get too used to having a GIGANTIC screen. I just love it.
