This is based on a couple of conversations I've had recently. I'm on a dinosaur computer, though it has some nifty things on it for its day, including a zip drive. USB flash drives do not work on this computer. I am about to get a computer of modern day (yippee), but I need to transfer a ton of files. My understanding is that new computers only have one old style input for a printer connection and everything else is pretty much USB. I do have portable zip units, too, but they all use printer like cords and connections, so I'd need two of those on a new computer to be able to transfer.
My question is, is there some time of converter or something that helps those of us wanting to use zip disks to put things from one computer to another, or is there another solution?
