 Post subject: An anti virus containing viruses

It is a bit odd but real. An updated version of a local anti virus package in my place was suspected to contain certain viruses. That seems to be right as the anti virus manufacturer finally withdrew the product. Do you think it is possible that an anti virus package contains viruses?
